This is another that my kids liked when they were little. It does taste better than it sounds.When I first got the recipe, I thought yukkkk, but I liked it and it is easy. Ingredients:
1 lb. pk. of beef franks |
1 large onion, diced |
1 bell pepper, large, diced |
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 teasp. sugar |
1 tblesp. oil |
Directions:
1. In a skillet on med.- high heat, 2. Saute onions and peppers in oil. 3. Cut each frank into 1/2-inch pieces. 4. Add franks to onion and peppers. 5. Add tomato sauce, water, and sugar. 6. Reduce heat. 7. Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. 8. Check mixture periodically, so not to burn. |
