I love to use my slow cooker. In fact, I have three of them in various sizes! These saucy chicken sandwiches are real crowd pleasers.—Lynn Ireland, Lebanon, Wisconsin Ingredients:
3 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs |
1 cup ketchup |
1 small onion, chopped |
1/4 cup water |
1/4 cup cider vinegar |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 bay leaf |
2 teaspoons paprika |
1 teaspoon dried oregano |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
10 kaiser rolls, split |
Directions:
1. Place chicken in a 5-qt. slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, onion, water, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic, bay leaf and seasonings. Pour over chicken.
