From the Recipe Favorites cookbook of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Mankato, MN. Ingredients:
3 lbs beef roast |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
2 teaspoons paprika |
1/4 cup white vinegar |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1 cup ketchup |
1 cup water |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Brown meat on all sides. 2. Combine remaining ingredients and bake at 325 degrees for 3 hours. 3. Take meat from pan. 4. With 2 forks shred meat and return to pan. 5. Can be frozen. |
