Just like Mom's...for what ails you! Ingredients:
10 large carrots, chopped |
2 medium onion, chopped |
10 stalks celery, chopped |
1 lb chicken |
32 oz chicken broth, reduced sodium |
4 cups water |
1 t salt |
1/2 t pepper |
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped |
1 clove garlic, chopped |
Directions:
1. Put chicken water in pot and simmer 45 minutes until tender. Remove chicken (save broth) and cool. Remove chicken meat from bone. Add to stock. Add all ingredents to stock. Cook another 1-1.5 hours. |
