Barbara's WEIGHT SHEDDING Bean Dish
Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground hamburger or turkey
1 small chopped onion
4 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
4 medium zucchini
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
16 oz stewed tomatoes, or tomato sauce
16 oz kidney beans
16 oz butter beans
1/2 cup parmesan cheese or asiago cheese
Directions:
1. Brown ground meat in olive oil with onion and garlic.
2. Cut Zucchini into 1 inch chunks
3. Drain fat out of mixed meat, oil, onion and garlic.
4. Add Worcestershire sauce and chili powder to taste along with the zucchini, tomatoes and beans
5. Cover pan and cook on medium low for at least 20 minutes
6. Add grated Parmesan Cheese or shredded Asiago Cheese to taste.
