I created this pizza recipe one night and it became a hit. Everyone asks for it now. Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts |
3 cups water (or 3 cups enough to cover meat) |
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke |
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced |
1 refrigerated pizza crust |
1/2 cup ranch dressing |
1/2 cup fresh basil leaf |
5 roma tomatoes, sliced |
1 cup mozzarella cheese |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven. Place 2 chicken breasts, water, liquid smoke and minced garlic ( i used jarred garlic) in medium size sauce pan. Place on medium heat and cook until the juices from the chicken run clear, about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, place refrigerated pizza crust on a lightly greased 9X13 cookie sheet. Spread ranch dressing over pizza dough. Layer the basil leaves on the ranch dressing. Next add cubed chicken spaced evenly over basil. Add mozzarella cheese. Put spices on next and then add the sliced tomatoes on top. Bake at 400 for 15 - 20 minutes or until desired doneness. |
