banana fritters from the philipines Ingredients:
4 short ripe saba bananas or plaintains |
2 eggs |
1 cup flour |
1/2 cup milk |
1 tea salt |
1 tea baking powder |
2 tea sugar |
4 cups oil for deep frying |
Directions:
1. beat eggs. add milk,flourand baking powder, 2. mixing well, beat slightly, add salt and sugar 3. let batter rest for 4 hours 4. peel bananas and cut into 2 inch lengths and 1/2 peices 5. heat oil and coat peices in batter, deep fry till golden brown |
