Very Caribbean Ingredients:
4 large bananas |
1/3 cup sweet butter |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1 cup heavy cream |
1/4 cup rum |
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract |
dash of ground cloves |
Directions:
1. Peel bananas and slice them in half lengthwise . 2. Sauté in butter until golden brown. 3. Drain them in absorbent paper and place them on a platter. Cool. 4. Sprinkle with one - half of the sugar. 5. Whip cream until stiff and fold in the remaining sugar, rum, and vanilla. 6. Cover bananas completely with this mixture. 7. Chill. Serve sprinkled with ground cloves |
