This is a recipe from Paula Deen. IT IS DELICIOUS! it is super easy and adds a touch of flare to any get together. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
4 bananas, peeled and halved cut lengthwise |
1/4 cup dark rum |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a large skillet. 2. Add brown sugar and stir together. 3. Add the bananas and cook until caramelized over medium-high heat. 4. Pour in the rum and catch a flame off of the gas stove or a BBQ lighter. (BE CAREFUL!) 5. Stand back when ignited and flambe. 6. Let flame die down. 7. Serve over vanilla ice cream. |
