                    We get banana stem in most of the indian grocery store.i cook this atleast once in a month.Banana stem contains lot of fibre.It is very good for health as it dissolves kidney stones.... Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                banana stem-1  |  
                                                green gram dhall-1/2c pressure cooked by adding some water  |  
                                                -----make a paste by adding some water  |  
                                                cumin seeds-1tsp  |  
                                                coconut-1/2tsp  |  
                                                green chilly-2  |  
                                                onion 1-chopped  |  
                                                salt to taste  |  
                                                coconut oil-1tsp  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Remove the outer skin of the plantain stem&cut into circular rings 2. we can remove the fibre by twisting the finger 3. Cut into small pieces.soak it in butter milk to avoid discolouration 4. In a pan add oil,add mustard seeds,& chopped onions&saute it 5. then add the grinded paste&cook it for few sec 6. Then add the banana stem&salt to taste&pressure cook it 7. Once it's cooked add coconut oil&serve hot with rice...                              |
