Banana Split Strawberry Shortcake |

Decadent, fruity, Strawberry, creamy, nutty and incredible. Ingredients:
2-1/2 cups all purpose baking mix |
3 tablespoons granulated sugar |
3 tablespoons butter melted |
1/2 cup milk |
2 tablespoons soft butter |
1 large banana |
1 cup sweetened whipped cream |
1/4 cup chopped nuts |
2 cups sweetened sliced strawberries |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450. 2. Stir baking mix, sugar, 3 tablespoons butter and milk to a soft dough. 3. Gently smooth dough into a ball on floured cloth covered board and knead 10 times. 4. Divide dough in half then roll one half onto 9 circle. 5. Place in ungreased round layer pan and dot with 2 tablespoons butter. 6. Roll other half of dough into 9 circle and place on top of dough in pan. 7. Bake 15 minutes or until light brown then split warm shortcake crosswise. 8. Slice half the banana over bottom layer and spread with 1/2 cup of the whipped cream. 9. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of the nuts. 10. Place second layer on whipped cream and nuts then slice remaining banana half over top. 11. Spoon strawberries over layers and spread with remaining whipped cream. 12. Sprinkle with remaining nuts then cut into wedges. |
