I have this recipe in my mom's handwritting, I don't know if she ever made it. Tell me what you think of it. Ingredients:
3 1/3 cups graham crackers |
3/4 cup margarine, softened |
1/2 cup sugar |
4 bananas, sliced |
1/2 gallon ice cream, neopolitan |
1 cup nuts, chopped |
1 cup chocolate chips |
1/2 cup margarine |
2 cups powdered sugar |
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Get a 10 x 30 pan. Press half of the Crumb Mixture into the bottom of the pan. 2. Layer 2:. 3. Place the sliced bananas on top of the mixture. Put the softened 1/2 gal of ice cream on top of the bananas and cover with the 1 cup of nuts and freeze. 4. Layer 3:. 5. Melt chocolate chips with margarine. Then add the powdered sugar and evaporated milk. Cook until thick. Add vanilla and cool. 6. Take frozen mixture out and spread the cooled layer 3 on top and sprinkle with remaining Crumb Mixture. 7. Freeze again. 8. This will keep for 2 weeks. |
