This is a favorite dessert of my son's functional skills class they make it for their lunch dessert at least once a month. Ingredients:
1 stick of margarine melted |
2 cups of grahm cracker crumbs |
2 sticks of margarine softened |
3 oz package of cream cheese |
1 16 oz box powdered sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon butter flavoring |
4 large slightly green bananas sliced |
1 14 oz can crushed pineapple well drained |
1 16 oz container non dairy whipped topping |
Directions:
1. Mix first two ingredients well and press into a 9 by 13 inch cake pan 2. mix together the two sticks of margarine, cream cheese, powdered sugar, eggs, vanilla, and butter flavoring until smooth and creamy 3. spread over the crust 4. top with the sliced bananas 5. then the drained pineapple 6. spread the topping evenly over the top 7. garnish with sliced strawberries if destired 8. chill at least one hour before serving |
