This cake reminds everyone of eating a banana split sundae but no ice cream. Everyone will ask for the recipe, they do with me!! Ingredients:
first layer |
2 cups graham cracker crumbs |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
1 stick melted butter |
1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar |
second layer |
2 stick softened butter |
2 cups confectioner's sugar |
2 eggs |
third layer |
3-4 sliced bananas |
fourth layer |
sliced fresh strawberries |
1 (20 oz) can well drained crushed pineapple |
fifth layer |
coconut |
chopped walnuts |
cool whip |
sliced marashino (drained) cherries |
Directions:
1. First Layer: 2. Combine all ingredients and press into 9 x 13 pan 3. Second Layer: 4. Beat all ingredients for a FULL 15 minutes at medium high sped 5. When done, spread over graham cracker crust in pan 6. Third Layer: 7. Add sliced bananas over 2nd layer. Can add more bananas if you like 8. Fourth Layer: 9. Add sliced strawberries over bananas and top with crushed pineapple 10. Fifth Layer: 11. Spread Cool Whip over strawberry/pineapple layer and top with walnuts 12. , coconut, and cherries 13. Refrigerate at least 6 hours to chill and set. 14. Yummy and enjoy!!! |
