Not a true Ice Cream A lite dessert Ingredients:
4 ripe bananas |
1/4 cup golden raisins |
1/4 cup dark rum |
Directions:
1. Peel the bananas,slice crosswise into rounds almost all the way through,keeping the form of the banana together.Wrap each banana individually in plastic wrap and freeze. 2. About 1 hour before serving,soak the raisins in the rum. 3. Separate the frozen banana sliced and puree them in a food processor or blender.Add the raisins and the rum,and process for about 30 seconds more.Serve the ice cream immediately in stemmed glasses. |
