BANANA RHUBARB PIE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Kimmel Estate in Justin, Texas in 1994. Ingredients:
1-3/4 cups diced rhubarb |
1-3/4 cups sliced ripe banana |
1-1/2 cups granulated sugar |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 tablespoon corn syrup |
1 large egg |
1 pie crust |
Directions:
1. Mix all of ingredients together and pour into pie crust. 2. Dot with butter on top and let sit 10 minutes. 3. Bake 15 minutes in a preheated 400 oven then reduce heat to 350 and bake 45 minutes. |
