Ingredients:
2 cups unsalted butter, softened |
2 cups sugar |
4 whole eggs, at room temperature |
4 cups self-rising flour |
2 cups bananas, mashed (very ripe) |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 2. Heavily grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan. 3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. 4. Beat in the eggs. 5. Beat in 2 cups of the flour, then beat in the bananas. 6. Beat in the remaining 2 cups of flour. 7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until a wooden pick inserted into the middle comes out clean. 8. Turn cake out onto a rack to cool. |
