A diferent, unexpected side dish. Could probably use Bell peppers just as well. Ingredients:
8-10 mild banana peppers |
1/2 cup milk |
1 1/2 c herb-seasoned stuffing mix |
1 cup grated cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Lightly grease 8 x 8 inch baking dish. Cut peppers lenghwise and remove seeds. Rub peppers on both sides with butter or margarine. 2. Put peppers in baking dish. Pour milk evenly over peppers. Add stuffing mix. Cover with grated cheese. 3. Bake at 350* for 30 minutes. |
