Banana-Peach Jam

This is from an old BH&G preserving book.
Ingredients:
1 lb banana
1 lb fresh peach
7 cups sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 ounces liquid pectin
Directions:
1. Peel fruits; discard pits. Mash fruit to a pulp.
2. Combine fruit pulp, sugar and lemon juice.
3. Stir over very low heat until sugar dissolves.
4. Bring to a full rolling boil.
5. Cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
6. Remove from heat; stir in pectin.
7. Stir 5 minutes to keep fruit well-distributed.
8. Pour into 8-oz., sterilized canning jars.
9. Water-bath process for 10 minutes.
