Banana Pancakes With Honey Pecan Butter |

One of my son's favorite foods is pancakes so I can't wait to make these for him. Ingredients:
honey pecan butter |
1/2 cup butter, softened |
1/4 cup honey |
1/3 cup chopped pecans, toasted |
pancakes |
1 cup flour |
2 tbls. sugar |
2 tsp. baking powder |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1/8 tsp. cinnamon |
1 egg |
1 cup milk |
1 cup mashed ripe bananas |
3 tbls. canola oil |
2 tsp. lemon juice |
maple syrup |
Directions:
1. Butter 2. In small bowl, beat butter and honey until smooth 3. Stir in pecans, then set aside 4. Pancakes 5. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon 6. In small bowl, whisk egg, milk, bananas, oil and lemon juice 7. Stir into dry ingredients until combined 8. Pour batter by 1/4 cup onto greased hot griddle 9. Turn when bubbles form on top 10. Cook until second side is golden brown 11. Serve with honey pecan butter and syrup |
