These bars are lower in fat than most bar cookies. Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups quick cooking oats |
1/2 cup white sugar |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 cup raisins |
1 cup mashed bananas |
1/4 cup skim milk |
2 egg whites |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. Mix together dry ingredients. In a separate bowl mix together bananas, egg whites, milk and vanilla. Beat all together. 3. Bake in a 9 x 13 inch pan which has been sprayed with non-stick spray for about 35 minutes. Cool and cut into bars. You may sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, if desired. |
