Banana Nut Muffins

Delicious banana nut muffins. On the breaksfast table in half an hour.
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Grease muffin cups.
3. Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
4. Separately cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
5. Beat in eggs, and stir in bananas, buttermilk and vanilla.
6. Add dry ingredients and stir to combine.
7. Add walnuts and stir.
8. Pour into muffin cups.
9. Bake 25-30 minutes.
10. Cool for 5 minutes before eating.
