Although I love the flavor of homemade cereals, I rarely have time to make them from scratch. But this cereal is so wonderful not only because it's tasty...it's made the night before.
Ingredients:
1 cup water
2/3 cup quick-cooking oats
1 firm banana, sliced
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped almonds
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
1. In a bowl, mix all of the ingredients. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Serve chilled. Yield: 2 servings
