This cake is one of my favorites. Try it to see of its yours. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups sugar |
2/3 cup oil |
3 eggs |
3 bananas, mashed |
2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
4 teaspoons buttermilk |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/4 cup chopped nuts |
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup butter flavor crisco |
1/2 cup oleo |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
3 cups powdered sugar |
1/3 cup banana, mashed |
Directions:
1. Cream oil and sugar. 2. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each. 3. Add all other ingredients. 4. Bake in 9x13 pan at 350F degrees for 30 minutes. 5. -FROSTING-. 6. Mix shortning and oleo. 7. Mix in 1/3 of sugar. 8. Beat well. 9. Add bananas alternately with sugar. 10. Mix until smooth and creamy. |
