This recipe actually uses Agave instead of honey so it's a vegan bread but the database couldn't analyze the agave so I put honey instead. Delicious and very moist - excellent toasted! Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour |
2 tsp baking powder |
1 tsp baking soda |
4 ripe bananas |
6 tbsp honey |
2 tbsp cooking oil |
1 tsp vanilla extract |
1/3 cup chopped walnuts |
1/3 cup golden raisins |
1 tsp cinnamon |
1/4 tsp clove |
1/4 tsp nutmeg |
1/4 tsp allspice |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Mix dry ingredients together. 3. In a medium bowl, mash bananas with a fork to make about 1 1/2 cups. 4. Add the rest of the wet ingredients with the banana, mix. 5. Pour liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients. 6. Add nuts or raisins. 7. Pour mixture into loaf pan and bake for about 50 minutes. |
