When the Winnipeg River beckons my visiting grandchildren each summer, they won't stop for breakfast, relates Helen Stine of Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba, but they'll always make time for these nutritious banana shakes. Ingredients:
1-1/3 cups 2% milk |
1 cup vanilla ice cream |
1/3 cup chocolate syrup |
2 small ripe bananas, quartered |
Directions:
1. In a blender; combine all ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled tall glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 2 servings. |
