Banana Layer Cake With Peanut Butter Frosting |

Easy to make and a great combination of bananas and peanut butter. Ingredients:
1 (18 ounce) pkge. yellow butter recipe cake mix |
1 (3 ounce) pkge. instant banana cream pudding |
1/4 cup water |
1/3 cup oil |
1 cup mashed ripe banana |
3 eggs |
1 (16 ounce) can cream cheese frosting |
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, beat on low speed 1 minute, then beat 2 minutes at medium speed. 2. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9 inch layer cake pans. 3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-33 minutes. 4. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack. 5. Microwave frosting on high for 15-20 seconds. Immediately stir in peanut butter. 6. Frost cake and sprinkle chopped peanuts on top and press chopped peanuts on sides of cake. |
