A sweet breakfast that pairs well with a mug of hot green tea. Ingredients:
2 slices whole grain bread |
2 tablespoons butter (optional) |
2 tablespoons honey (recommended ( l'apiculteur, miel fleurs de france) |
1 medium ripe banana |
ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Toast two slices of whole grain bread. 2. If desired, spread one tablespoon butter on each slice of toast. 3. Spread one tablespoon honey on each slice of toast. 4. Cut one medium ripe banana into even slices; layer the banana slices over each piece of toast. 5. Sprinkle toast with ground cinnamon to taste. 6. Enjoy, perhaps with a mug of hot green tea. |
