a simple filipino dessert and snack that goes well with aroz ala cubana Ingredients:
10 bananas (lakatan is a good choice), peeled and cut lengthwise into two |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 tsp ground cinnamon |
6 tbsp cooking oil for frying |
Directions:
1. mix the sugar and cinnamon together until well-incorproated. 2. coat the banana slices with the sugar and cinnamon mixture 3. heat your frying pan in high heat for 5 minutes 4. add oil 5. when oil is hot enough for frying, fry banana slices until the sugar coating develops a caramelized consistency 6. pat dry in paper towels and serve |
