These are absolutely delish, however be careful not to over-heat the oil or the fritters will be to brown Ingredients:
1/2 cup plain flour |
1/2 cup self-raising flour |
1 tablespoon caster sugar |
2 eggs, lightly beaten |
1/2 cup milk |
1 teaspoon oil |
1 teaspoon vanilla essence |
4 large bananas, halved |
Directions:
1. you will also need, oil for deep-frying and sugar. 2. sift flours and castor sugar into bowl, graduallt whisk in eggs milk, oil and essence. 3. dip banana pieces into batter. 4. deep-fry in hot oil until lighly browned. 5. drain on absorbent paper. 6. toss in sugar. |
