Banana Foster Bread Pudding |

Cheif Bubba and Friends Ingredients:
1 (10 ounce) french bread, stale loaf, crumbled (or 6-8 cups any type bread) |
1 1/2 cups milk |
1 1/2 cups heavy cream |
1 cup banana liqueur |
2 cups sugar |
8 tablespoons butter, melted |
4 eggs |
2 tablespoons vanilla |
5 bananas, cut up |
1 cup pecans, chopped |
1 tablespoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients; mixture should be very moist but not soupy. 2. Pour into buttered 9x12 -inch or larger baking dish. Place into non-preheated oven. 3. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour and 15 mintues, until top is golden brown. 4. Serve with warm banana liqueur sauce:. 5. 1 stick butter 6. 2 cups dark brown sugar. 7. 4 oz. banana liqueur. 8. 4 oz dark rum. 9. ground cinnamon. 10. Melt butter and add brown sugar to form a creamy paste. Let this mixture caramelize over heat for approximately 5 minutes. Stir in banana liqueur and rum. Heat and ignite. Agitate to keep flame burning, and add a few pouches of Voodoo Magic (ground cinnamon) to the flame. Let flame go out and serve warm over warm bread pudding. |
