Bananas are a favourite food of many, both children, teenagers and adults. Here is a unique recipe you are sure to enjoy. Do try! Ingredients:
1 cup self-raising flour (maida) |
1 banana, ripe, cut into pieces |
1/2 cup milk |
1/4 cup water |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon sugar |
2 tablespoons oil or 2 tablespoons butter |
honey, to taste |
Directions:
1. In a bowl, blend together flour, banana pieces, milk, water, salt and sugar. 2. Ensure that the mixture is of a coating consistency so that you will be able to make thin pancakes. 3. Grease a non-stick griddle or tawa using a little oil or butter. 4. Spread 2 tbsps. of the mixture on the griddle and spread it in a circular pancake shape. 5. Cook till it turns slightly pinkish in colour. 6. Flip and cook on the other side as well. 7. Ensure that both sides are cooked properly. 8. Brush with a dab of honey and serve. 9. Enjoy! |
