I have no idea where or when I got this recipe. I found it hidden in my computer recipes. I haven't tried it yet but it sounds really delicious and thought some of you might want to see it also. Ingredients:
1 c. mashed ripe bananas |
2 tsp. lemon juice |
1/2 c. biscuit mix |
1/4 c. sugar |
1 tbs. softened butter |
1/2 tsp. vanilla |
2 eggs |
1 can sweetened condensed milk |
3/4 c. cool whip (optional) |
1/4 c. coarsely chopped walnuts (optional) |
caramel topping, warmed(optional) |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350ºF. 2. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray. 3. In small bowl, mix bananas and lemon juice; set aside. 4. In medium bowl, stir remaining ingredients except cool whip, walnuts and caramel topping until blended. 5. Add banana mixture; stir until blended. 6. Pour into pie plate. 7. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean. 8. Cool completely, about 1 hour. 9. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours or until chilled. 10. If you use the optional ingredients put them on top before serving |
