Back to my steamer . It's raining in the afternoons and it's nice to have dis steamy cupcakes with green tea . Ingredients:
3 banans , sliced |
150 g plus 100 g caster sugar |
100 ml water |
75 g butter , melted |
100 ml low fat evaporated milk |
2 eggs , lightly beaten |
180 g flour , 1/2 tsp baking soda , pinch of salt - sifted |
Directions:
1. Caramalise the 150 g sugar until golden brown . Remove from fire and add the water . 2. Boil again until the sugar is melted . Cool it . 3. Take 300 ml of the caramel , add the butter , milk and eggs . 4. In a bowl , add the flour , 100 g sugar and stir . 5. Pour the caramel mixture . Stir until lump free . 6. Grease the cups . Place some banana slices at the bottom of each cup . 7. Pour batter into all the cups . 8. Boil a steamer . Steam the cups for 20 mins . 9. Turn it over and serve warm . |
