Banana Cream Cheese Bread |

What do you do with a gazillion over-ripe bananas?? Double this recipe and enjoy! Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
1 cup sugar |
1/4 butter, softened |
1 cup mashed extra ripe banana (about three small) |
2 eggs |
2 1/4 cups flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2-1 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Mix together cream cheese, sugar and butter until smooth. 2. Add eggs and bananas and mix well. 3. Combine dry ingredients and add to wet and mix until blended. 4. Fold in nuts. 5. Pour into greased and floured 9x5 loaf pan. 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. 7. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before moving to cooling rack. 8. Serve warm or cool. |
