Finally, a way to use up leftover cranberry sauce. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups white sugar |
1 cup shortening |
3 eggs |
3 mashed bananas |
1 cup cranberry sauce |
1/2 cup milk |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
4 cups flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Lightly grease two or three loaf pans. 3. Cream together the sugar and shortening until light. 4. Beat in eggs, and mix in the bananas, cranberry sauce, milk and vanilla. 5. Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder cinnamon and nutmeg. 6. Mix together and pour into pans. |
