Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins |

An absolutely scrumptious way to use up overripe bananas! Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1/4 cup granulated sugar |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 pinch salt |
1 cup chocolate chips |
2 cups mashed bananas |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
1/4 cup milk |
2 eggs |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add the chocolate chips. 2. Blend together the bananas, butter, milk and eggs; with a fork, stir into the flour mixture just until blended. 3. Don't overmix. 4. Fill greased muffin cups three-quarters full. 5. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch. |
