Banana Chocolate Chip Bread |

A twist on normal banana bread, it goes great warmed up with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Ingredients:
3/4 cup granulated sugar |
1 1/2 cup mashed bananas (use a food processor) |
3/4 cup vegetable oil |
2 large eggs |
2 cups all purpose flour |
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips |
2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 yeaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Mix everything together but the chocolate. 2. Then fold in the chips 3. Pour into a greased floured loaf pan 4. Cover loosely with a tent of foil and bake at 325 for 30 minutes 5. Remove foil and bake for 40 minutes (a toothpick should come out clean when it is done) 6. Cool 10 minutes then remove from pan 7. Cool completely prior to slicing |
