Don't monkey around with these! Make a lot! Ingredients:
4 bananas (green tipped work best) |
1/4 cup flour |
2 cups vegetable oil |
1 dash salt |
Directions:
1. Peel bananas. 2. Thinly slice about 1/8 inch thick. 3. Dredge slices in flour to coat lightly. 4. In a wok or saucepan, heat oil to 375F on a deep frying thermometer. 5. Add banana slices in small batches without crowding. 6. Fry about 3 mins until golden brown. 7. Drain chips on paper towel and sprinkle with salt to taste. |
