This is a fantastic recipe with no sugar - it's made with Splenda!! very delicious!! Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup margarine, melted |
1 egg |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup mashed ripe banana |
1/2 cup splenda sugar substitute |
1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Mix flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; set aside. 2. Beat margarine until smooth. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Beat in banana and Splenda for one minute. Add flour mixture, beat until well blended, Stir in chips. 3. Spread evenly in greased 8-inch square baking pan. 4. Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes or until tester comes out clean. Cool. Cut into bars. 5. OPTIONAL: Sprinkle with additional rolled oats, before baking. |
