Banana Caramel Cream Cheese Pie |

A delicious recipe of cream cheese without the hassle of baking. The difficult part is the waiting! Ingredients:
crust |
1 1/4 cup crushed graham |
2 tbsp sugar |
1/4 cup melted butter |
cream cheese filling |
1 pack (225g) cream cheese, softened |
1/4 cup powdered sugar |
2 cups all-purpose cream, whipped |
caramel |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 tbs water |
1/2 cup all-purpose cream |
2 tbs softened butter |
additional ingredients |
3 pcs large bananas, sliced |
1/4 cup chocolate syrup (store bought like hershey's) |
1/3 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped |
1/4 cup praline candy, chopped |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, mix all crust ingredients and press onto a 9 pie plate. Chill for 30 minutes. 2. For the filling, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. 3. In another bowl, whip cream and fold into the cream cheese mixture. 4. To make the caramel, place sugar and water in saucepan. 5. Cook until the sugar is melted and mixture turns golden brown. 6. Remove from heat and stir in cream. 7. Add butter and let cool. 8. To assemble, place slices of banana on the bottom of crust and sprinkle with walnuts. 9. Pour caramel and chocolate syrup over bananas. 10. Spread cream cheese mixture and top with chopped praline candy. 11. Chill for 3 hours or more before serving. |
