Use your favorite banana bread recipe to make a unique bread pudding! (Goes well with a rum sauce.) Ingredients:
your favorite banana bread, cooled and cubed |
3 bananas |
3 eggs |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 cup water |
1 can sweetened condensed milk |
1/4 cup coconut |
2 tablespoons butter, melted |
2 tablespoons vanilla |
1/2 cup pecans, chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees; 2. Place banana bread cubes in a greased 9X13 baking dish; 3. Peel and slice bananas and scatter them over the bread cubes; 4. Beat together eggs and cinnamon; add remaining ingredients, except chopped pecans, and mix; 5. Pour mixture evenly over bread and bananas; 6. Sprinkle pecans on top; 7. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean. |
