I combined a few favorite flavors into this banana bread and it is a hit with our family and friends. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
2 cups sugar |
4 eggs |
8 bananas, mashed |
1 cup milk |
1 teaspoon almond extract |
5 cups flour, divided |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
3/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 cup nuts |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Grease 3 loaf pans. 3. Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add bananas, milk and almond extract. Mix to combine. Add 3 cups of flour, stir. Add baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and nuts. Add remaining flour. 4. Divide into 3 loaf pans. Let rise 15 minutes. 5. Bake 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted tests clean. |
