This is the easiest and best tasting banana bread I have ever had. Ingredients:
1 c. butter |
1 1/2 c. sugar |
2 large eggs |
4 very ripe bananas, mashed |
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract |
4 tbs. buttermilk |
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda |
2 c. all purpose flour |
1 tsp. salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 ยบ. 2. Cream butter and sugar. 3. Mash bananas. 4. Beat the eggs and add to the bananas with the vanilla and buttermilk. 5. Mix well. 6. Add to creamed butter and sugar mixture. 7. Sift together flour, soda and salt. 8. Add to banana mixture, beat well. 9. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pans. 10. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until bread pulls away from sides of pan. 11. Cool |
