It goes perfectly with some vanilla ice cream! Yum!! Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup butter, softened |
1 cup sugar |
2 eggs, beaten |
3 1/2 mashed ripe bananas |
1 cup chopped nuts |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 1/3 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. 2. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar. 3. Stir in eggs, mashed bananas, cinnamon and nuts into creamed butter until well blended. 4. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture. 5. Pour batter into a lightly greased 9x5 inch loaf pan. 6. Bake in preheated oven 350F for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. 7. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes. |
