Moist banana, nut and spice bread. Good as a desert, snack, breakfast or brunch item. Ingredients:
1/2 stick butter, softened |
1/2 c brown sugar, packed |
1/2 c honey |
1 t cinnamon |
1/2 t nutmeg |
1/4 t all-spice |
1 t vanilla |
2 eggs, room temperature and slightly beaten |
3 ripe bananas, mashed |
1 1/2 c all-purpose flour |
1/2 t baking soda |
1/2 t salt |
1/2 c pecans |
bakers choice spray |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degree. 2. Mix butter, sugar, honey, baking soda, salt, and spices until creamy. 3. Add the eggs and bananas; mix well. 4. Blend in the flour a little at a time. 5. Fold in the nuts. 6. Spray a loaf pan wiith Bakers Choice and pour in the batter. 7. Bake in oven for 1 hour, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. |
