A lighter version of an original that isn't missing anything. Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1 cup whole wheat flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
2 eggs |
5 bananas |
2/3 cup sugar |
1/4 cup canola oil |
1/3 cup applesauce |
Directions:
1. grease bottom and sides of a loaf pan. Combine four, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a bowl. 2. In a medium bowl mash bananas and combine with combine eggs, sugar and oil. Add all at once to flour mixture. Stir until just moistened, mixture will be lumpy 3. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. |
