Mom's Banana Bread
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup mashed banana (appx 3)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt.
3. Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl.
4. Add eggs one at a time mixing well in between.
5. Add bananas, vanilla and nuts mix well.
6. Gradually add dry ingredients and sour cream alternating - end with dry ingredients.
7. Pour into a greased loaf pan.
8. Bake 1 hour.
9. For 12 muffins prepare as above. Pour into 12 muffin liners and bake 17-21 minutes 350.
