This banana bread recipe makes the best bread I have ever had. It is a no-fail recipe that turns out moist everytime. This is requested by my family often and always gets great responses. I always use brown bananas and make a double recipe to freeze one of the loaves. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups sugar |
1/4 cup butter, softened |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
4 tablespoons sour cream |
1 1/4 cups flour |
1 cup mashed banana |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. Cream sugar and butter, add eggs. In seperate bowl, mix baking soda and sour cream, set aside. To sugar, butter, and egg mixture, add flour, bananas, vanilla, and salt. Fold in baking soda and sour cream. Pour in greased loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour. |
