BANANA BLENDER PANCAKES This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hood Estate in Malakoff, Texas in 1990. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1 tablespoons granulated sugar |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup butter cold |
3/4 cup cold milk |
1/2 cup banana mashed |
Directions:
1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt then cut in butter until crumbly. 2. Make a well in center then pour milk and banana into well and stir to moisten. 3. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet then bake at 400 for 20 minutes. 4. Serve hot with butter and marmalade or peanut butter. |
